Foundation Facial Aesthetic course
Available to medical practitioners with current GMC, GDC NMC registration or select Allied Health Professionals registered with HCPC outlined by the JCCP
1 Day course: Pre reading 2 hours, day 7-8 hours plus portfolio
An introduction to Facial Aesthetics and treatments with Botulinum Toxin Type A and dermal fillers. The first part of the day will focus on consolidating the theory sent to you prior to the course making sure you are confident in anatomy and Physiology, the pharmacology behind Botulinum toxin, red flags, common complications and how to resolve these. We will then lead on to learning the 4 Botulinum toxin and 3 Dermal filler procedures covered on the foundation course. This will all be under the supervision of highly experienced practitioners with ample chance to practice and ask questions. You will have further chance to consolidate your learning with workshops and case studies as well as discussing how to implement this in your own practice.
Botulinum toxin procedures: Forehead lines, Frown lines, eyebrow lift and crowsfeet
Dermal fillers: Lips, Nasolabial folds and Marionettes lines
For full certification a portfolio must be completed
